I went down to the river today to see the flood levels, (yes I actually got there today), but on the way back to work I passed through the Christmas Fayre again. As predicted it was busier than yesterday afternoon, but still not to bad. The Carousel was running so I took a few shots.
I could have done with an ND filter for this, because even at ISO50 I still needed f/22 to get 1/2 second exposures, and the small aperture showed up all the blemishes on the lens/sensor. I could have cloned them out, but was feeling too lazy.
i like the motion caught in the photo - i haven't a clue how to do this but just enrolled in an on-line photography course so hopefully this will be covered as i like the effect!!!
@ruthhowell Thanks. It is relatively easy, but you need a tripod, or a fairly steady hand (for 1/2 second exposures), and an ND filter will definitely help to get longer shutter speeds in daylight.
