I took the instrument panel out of Jan's car today as half the bulbs were blown and I felt that we should do something about it. It was surprisingly easy to get out, compared to some that I have seen whereby you need to remove half of the front end of the car to get behind the speedo.
Anyway I got the unit out only to find that nowhere that is open on a Sunday sells the 'standard' bulbs required! It remains on the kitchen work top until I can get to somewhere tomorrow. We will have to use my car tomorrow.
isn't that always the way - you go to do something like this and can't get the parts - its like when you find a good recipe and start to make only to find out you don't have everything that is needed
