On Wednesday I went to the oxbow lakes to see the almost full moon rising. The day was windy and clear. And suddenly clouds began to roll in, making it impossible to observe the Moon. It's probably a tradition here, the sky is always cloudy on the full moon. I turned towards the sun and managed to capture a few shots before the sun disappeared behind the clouds.

You salvaged the shoot! Something similar happened to me years ago. I went to the local lake in hopes of capturing the moon rising and the clouds moved in. I waited for awhile before giving up in hopes that the clouds might part. When I turned to go back to my car I was greeted with a similar sunset. Good job.
