Crochet necklace made by my grandmother. Unfortunately, I didn't want to learn how to crochet.

Thanks for the info. My ignorance about this is huge. I just remember Grandma was making it with thread and a very thin crochet hook. The constant tangling of the threads irritated me.

@haskar that thin hook is attached to the shuttle that is loaded with the thread. I still have all my tatting gear and all of her pattern books, but I haven't tried doing any in more than 40 years! I think I would pick it up again pretty quickly tho!
I don't sew because I can't stand unpicking mistakes 🤣
