School starts next week. All three are going in some form or fashion this year so I thought this might be our last chance for a summer picnic. The beginning of the week we were deluged with cold rain and the weekend is supposed to be back in the 90's (all set with 90's by the the way, weather gods...) but today, TODAY was glorious!! One for the memory books. We took a picnic lunch to a local playground which has all the requisite kid fun - in bright shiny colors no less. But for some reason, this tree is the most popular thing there. Friendships are forged, information is exchanged (Finn is explaining to this boy all about Tornadoes in Indiana - he is an expert you see. He watched an episode of "The Middle' last night....) and fun is had. Summer is almost over. Won't get too many more days like this!!
How nice that this tree is so popular with the kids...it makes a wonderful prop for a picture! You day sounded exceptionally wonderful...what a great way to end the summer!
