I did some shoveling today. Ok, technically I did some serious "pushing"of white stuff across the driveway and into the ever-growing snowbanks. I decided to use what I lovingly refer to as "The Beast" or "The Back-breaker!" It weighs about ten pounds with not an ounce of snow on it so you can imagine it can make for a long day. But you can't beat it for pure scraping power. It has a perfect blade to density ratio and cleans up driven over snow like nobody's business. And sadly, I am at a point in my life where that has somehow become important.... When and why does that happen?? Anyway, that being said, my back hurts. I love that old shovel but I sure hope the next storm (which is happening as I post this, why thank you Mother Nature!) is a little more snowblower-worthy!
