As you can see, we needed all the light we could get...
No Halloween here this year - at least not yet. The town had to postpone due to power outages and dangerous wires leftover from the lovely errant Nor'easter that barreled through here last weekend and dropped about 7 inches of HEAVY, wet snow on all our lovely foliage. We were out of power for four days, school was cancelled and things were just generally bizarre around here. (Sunday I shopped at a supermarket with only emergency lighting and non-perishables and a cashier dressed as Captain America....) But things are sorting themselves out - and I am stocking up on half price Halloween candy for the "real" event which - this year anyway - will be November 6th! ;-)
