After a wonderful - but very hectic - Christmas Day with lots and lots of family (and noise) at home, we spent the day after, Boxing Day, with some more wonderful relatives - and a lot less noise - in a gorgeous hilltop house in N.H. with beautiful views in every direction. As we sat down to dinner with a lot of great food, great wine and great conversation with really, really great people, this was my view from the table. As the light got dimmer the view just got more spectacular and peaceful. I finally dragged myself away from the conversation just in time to step out and get this shot before all the light was gone. That is Mt. Monadnock standing proud in the distance. There was not a sound to be heard as I stood there in the cold, fresh air. (A welcome lack of sound - however brief!) It was a wonderful day all around. It has been a wonderful Holiday Season so far. I hope you are all having a lovely time too - with or without a view.... :-)
