It is New Years Eve and it is a dreary rainy day here. Almost like Mother Nature is sad to see the year go - or maybe she is just sad thinking of all the bad weather this year brought everyone... I am no fan of shoveling but I can't help but think we could use a little snow around here to make things look a little less bleak. Of course the clear ground allows for easier impromptu tromping!!
I took this picture a couple of days ago on a beautiful sunny winter day. We took the boys to the Old North Bridge in Concord for a little fresh air and historical perspective. I was taken by the branches of this big tree against the brilliant blue sky. I didn't capture it any way near what I wanted, as usual, but I liked the shot. And I didn't even realize until later that you could see the bridge in the distance.
