Got a free pass to go out with an old friend last night. We had a fabulous time catching up over fancy cocktails (ok, mine was too fancy for me - I switched to beer...) It was too dark for good pictures and too loud for our old ears but we had seats at the bar and excellent food to share. Some friendships can overcome anything you throw at them - like hipster nightspots....
