My oldest had a bad day today - a legitimate bad, so bad that trickles down to the whole household, kind of day... It is hard as a parent to see your kids struggle, knowing that these are lessons that will serve them well someday down the line. But right now, today, it all feels like the end of the world. And even though you, yourself, have years of experience that tell you this too shall pass, you still know how they feel. And it hurts. In case someone tries to tell you otherwise, sometimes, this parenting thing is really hard...
Oh Holly, so sorry for his bad day and yours as well. I know how you feel. It's the hardest part of being a parent, seeing your child hurt and not being able to do anything about it.
