Michael's Medieval Misery

He looks like I feel....

I'm continuing with my "One year ago today" theme since I am still lacking inspiration - and I have had a bit of a headache all day. Last July we were on our epic family trip to Ireland. This night we visited a medieval(ish) banquet in a castle near Galway, complete with actors and mead and lots of sweaty Americans.... Michael hated every minute of it. From the weird food, to the million degree temps inside a poorly ventilated giant hunk of rock - and the SINGING! This picture captured it perfectly and it never fails to make me laugh!

Haha! I know EXACTLY how he feels! On a trip to Ireland with my mother and one of her friends, we attended a similar medieval(ish) banquet. A bunch of very drunk, very loud American men on a golf vacation kept hitting on all the women.... I was embarrassed to be an American!

Please tell Michael that it is not weird to hate going to these events. Chatty cocktail parties are an equivalent ordeal, except there is also physical torture (high heels) involved.
