This summer has been a bit off in my opinion. Today reached a scorching high of 77 degrees - not that I'm complaining since I am not a fan of sweating - but it just doesn't feel right for August... Another reason it doesn't feel right is because we did not have a chance to go back to Vermont for vacation. The house we've rented on Lake Champlain for the past few years is no longer for rent. It had to be one of our absolute favorite spots in the whole Universe. We are trying to be grown ups about it but both David and I are, how do you say, quite put out...
So I'm going to pretend I'm in Vermont this week - at least on 365. Maybe if I try hard enough, it will do the trick and I'll feel like I was there. And if nothing else, it's a lot more scenic than my boring every day life.... ;-)
My favorite season is autumn because of its cool weather. Running is more enjoyable, and camping too. It's a bummer that you can't go back to your house. Brilliant picture by the way.
