Spent the day looking through old pictures with my parents. The stories old photos can tell of another time in history are absolutely priceless, if you ask me.
This is one of the oldest photos I found. From the age mentioned, I gather this was 1907. The woman on the right is my Great Grandmother, when she was just a teenager. This was taken five years before my Grandmother was even born. I was lucky enough to have know my Great Grandmother - my Babcia. She died when I was ten. I knew her at the end of her life. But in this picture, it is all still ahead of her. There is just something so amazing to me about that...
Oh, Holly, I feel exactly the same! I have few photos from this era of family members...though lots of me as a child as my dad loved photography! Looking at pictures is like time travel... They're awfully priceless...
