Maybe not *technically* the best wildlife shot out there - but I love it nonetheless. For one, the animal I was aiming at is actually IN the picture - like the middle and everything! And also, it is just a pretty interesting scene... So says me anyway. :-)
That's him, swimming right toward you! Very cool Holly! I'm like you...it's going to be all about the animal in the photo! However, that's a really beautiful image of the trees and reflections in the water!
@Weezilou Thanks Louise. As I'm sure you've experienced, this picture was taken totally in the heat of the moment, frantically zooming and clicking and hoping I captured something recognizable as the otter was on the move. So when I looked at it later - and not only could you see the otter - but the whole picture had such an interesting feel to it - I was irrationally happy. :-) Another puzzle candidate I think....

Did I tell you I gave my puzzle to our friends who had us to their home last weekend in Halifax...the ones with the lobsters! Harry loved it! He thought I'd taken a painting and set our house in the picture! It was a compliment because he didn't realize I'd taken the whole photo! Made one for us with the bigger pieces, and puzzles for the grands, too, for Christmas! What fun! Look what you started!
