I do realize that this is not actually a bird - and I said I was doing a week of birds - but how can you resist a squirrel?! Besides, he was desperately trying to eat from all the bird feeders today so perhaps he thinks he is one...
We were hit with another blizzard last night and into today (at least I think they considered it a blizzard - truth be told I've stopped watching the weather - not helping the sanity...) The snow stopped before the winds and as you can see the gusts were really something. I'm not sure if he planned to use his tail as a windbreak, but it seemed like a smart idea to me. Forgive the pun in my title. Desperate times call for desperate measures of amusement.... ;-)
