A Different Splash of Color

A gang of juvenile Grackles invaded the feeders the other day and they seemed very much the teenagers - a little awkward and drab in color, scaring away all the the little birds, hogging the feeders. They didn't merit a picture says grumpy old photographer... Today a lone adult arrived, looking much more put together and iridescent. Call me an ageist if you'd like, but I'll take the shiny, well behaved bird over a plague of young Grackles any day....

@chard That is the official designation of a group of Grackles, I kid you not. After watching them awhile I can see why! :)
