All the beautiful golden leaves that shone so lovely on my Maples a few weeks back are now just a brown pile of mess on the lawn. http://365project.org/hbdaly/365/2015-10-22 I hijacked the boys right off the school bus today to help me get this pile into the woods before the rain comes tonight. Because the only thing more depressing than a pile of dead leaves is a pile of WET dead leaves... :-}
Mom let the boys have one last leap before fun time was over. Although, frankly, I think they were just going through the motions. The love of the leaf pile is a fleeting thing...
