Michael, my 11 year old has finally determined that there is just not enough action in playing baseball. So he has gone back to soccer after a year's hiatus. He had a little rust to shake off in his first game today, but he more than made up for it near the end with his first goal of the season. Yay Mike!!
Speaking of shaking off the rust, I decided this would be a good opportunity to work on improving my "action shots!" (Baseball gives you ample - and I mean AMPLE - opportunity to line up your pictures before the action starts - IF the action starts...;) But Michael fared much better than I did today. When he scored his goal, I couldn't get a picture of it because the battery in my camera was dead. Photographer Fail of the highest order... So this is the one reasonable shot I got of him bringing the ball upfield. The season just started. We both have plenty of time for improvement..... :-}
Nice shot and good to see your son scored a goal already this season. I have been wanting to work on action shots myself and that is what caught my attention under latest photos.
