After a day that felt too hot to get much done, my husband and I sat in the yard, in the early evening cool and discussed all the ways the world has gone mad lately. We didn't solve any of the world's problems, but looking around at our nice peaceful yard, at least we have our own little oasis to sit in while we hope for the best everywhere else.... :-}
