Moosehead Lake is the largest lake entirely within New England, but it is strangely shaped (like a moose head - apparently) so it has a lot of nooks and crannies and character - and still somehow it has a cozy feel to it. The corner our rental house was in is called Lily Bay. We went swimming at the State Park nearby on the one hot and humid day we had while up there. (It was like 80! Can you stand it?!) ;) There is not a bad view on the entire lake, I've decided. And I'd be willing to go back up and check them all out personally, just to be sure....
I could park myself there permanently! What a gorgeous view - and a lovely shot - like the shadows from the leaves and the way you're looking through the trees to that beautiful lake.
