One of my favorite signs that Spring is on its way is the return of the migrating birds to my feeders. Of course they don’t all have to return AT THE SAME TIME!! 😳 This massive flock of Grackles, Cowbirds and Red-winged Blackbirds has been showing up off and on over the past couple of days. I “feel” them arrive more than just seeing them - between the cacophony and the blotting out of the sun... 😆 Definitely feels like a scene from ‘The Birds’ at times.
*In honor of Hitchcock, I tried to make it look a little old-timey. And also, I like how this filter brought out the blue on the Grackle’s necks. Fancy as I get.... 😉
