Today the forecast said we would have heavy rain in the afternoon so it was an extra bonus that the sun shone brightly all day. I worked most of the day, and battled my way round Tesco, then had a lovely walk with the dogs while Will was at band practise. The sun was illuminating the fading weeds so they looked as if they were glowing from within - and the stalks were such a delicate pink shade, I wanted to capture their moment of glory.
