Leafy Corner

I took this picture out of my bedroom window this morning. The black poplar in the garden is busy smothering the lawn in leaves. It's nice on a chilly Autumn evening to light a fire in the chiminea and toast some marshmallows. But I don't know who has booby-trapped the two little chairs with bamboo poles! I'm glad I took this picture while the sun was still, if not shining, at least visible; it has been grey and drizzly for the rest of the day.
That's a thick smothering of leaves, those chairs and the chiminea look like they're slowly getting taking over!

Looks really pretty with a carpet of leaves, I have a n idea of who might have booby trapped the chairs. How is Wills toe ?

I love how in the autumn the leaves do this and in the spring the blossom carpets everything. One would think we did not like our lawns!

It looks like a lovely peaceful setting. Maybe the chairs were put together to keep them from blowing away?
