Umbrella Exhibit

I took Will to the Fitzwilliam Art Museum this morning to research his current school art project on Medieval Art. We admired the paintings of Virgin and child, and Jesus on the cross and the beautifully embellished manuscripts, then had a nice, but very expensive lunch in the cafe.
Visitors were asked to leave their umbrellas in the special rack on the way in. As it's been raining for the last 24 hours, there was a good collection - including lots of childrens' ones as it's half-term and the museum is holding various events. I snapped this picture on my iphone as I stopped to pick up my brolly on the way out.
Ooh, so badly out of focus!
It is a little out of focus but you and Will are in focus so maybe you could say that was your plan!

I like all the bright umbrellas, also seeing the reflections of you and William

It's good there's still honesty when it comes to umbrella racks - they need a rack for dogs too so that I don't get in trouble using the gate post again!

It's the reflectio of you and Will that makes the picture so cool!

But the people in the reflection are in focus; it's all in the perspective.
