This afternoon I met up with (@judithg, @jannaellen and @angel4fs for a lovely 'camera amble' around Cambridge. It was great fun; the perfect mix of old friends ( I've known Judith since our offspring were in nappies) and new (Janna and Faith).
I chose this photo to sum up our afternoon together because it makes me laugh! After happily snapping away for several minutes in a stunningly beautiful college chapel (I won't mention it by name in case any officials of said college happen to be reading this), we suddenly noticed a big sign warning: ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOGRAPHY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER ANYWHERE IN THIS BUILDING FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY AND THAT MEANS YOU! OR ELSE! (or words to that effect). We hastily stuffed our cameras up our jumpers and shuffled sheepishly out. Taking photos? No, not us, guv! We were just checking our lenses.
Hihihi :). That was such a funny moment! But you definitely made the most out of the "pre-sign-reading" time! This shot is very beautiful - love the symmetry, the framing and the contrast between the focused foreground and the blurred background!
