I've been very busy trying to pack in as much writing as possible before the summer holidays but today I needed a change of scene from my desk so I went to St Ives - with my laptop and set up camp in the Riverside Cafe. I had a wander over the bridge across the Ouse and watched this little girl feed the swans - the swans round here clearly know when it's feeding time!
That's a lot of swans - I've only been to that bit of St Ives once (buying a dance outfit for Adam would you believe!) - must go for another wander some time.
The only time I fed swans was when I was in England as an 11 years old girl,it freaked me out a bit when they leaned so close from the river!
