I took this on Monday on the way to the Tate Modern in London, but chose it today because (a) I LOVE these knobbly trees and (b) I've spent the day sitting at my desk working, apart from a quick trip to A & E with Will. He twisted his elbow in some kind of extreme street dance move in P.E. today and came home complaining that it hurt a lot and he couldn't move it, and that the school nurse said he might need to get it checked out.
It's just badly bruised apparently.
I wish they did Loyalty Cards there - maybe a free pass to front of the queue for every ten visits?
Ha - I recognised this even from your thumbnail - it's on the road parallel to the one I walk down every morning on the way to work - those plane trees are amazing like this.
