. . . when you snap a photo with a phone camera on a cold and foggy morning while crossing a road bridge with two turbo-charged collies pulling you by their leads frantic to start their walk after an early morning visit to the vet.
The bridge over the busy road at Hardwick is an improbable shade of bright blue. It's quite striking on a sunny day and there is a nice walk over the fields once you've crossed (although a muddy quagmire at the moment). I don't know who added this cryptic comment, or why, but it's very neatly stencilled! Looks like something very rude may have been blacked out beneath it though!
Three good things
1) Healthy dogs. The visit to the vet was just for a check-up and booster jabs. They were both deemed to be in good working order and ideal weight (even Storm who has a "fuller figure")
2) Hot water bottles. The weather has turned cold. I'm going to fetch mine now.
3) Debenhams Sale. Snazzy new school shoes for Will after his old pair suddenly self-destructed.
@judithg I think we've walked across her together at some point? Monty fat? Just big-boned, I'm sure. There was a poster up at the vet for a photo competition sponsored by Petsavers - have you seen it? I thought of you - I'm sure you've got a winning shot you could send in?
