Sinking Feeling

I spent the day working in the library. Took a break at lunchtime to look around the exhibition of the Cambridge Drawing Society, which was very impressive. Waiting at the bus stop to go back to the Park and Ride, with a queue of other wannabe bus-riders, we realised that a very unobtrusive notice had been stuck to the bus shelter to tell us that this bus stop had been 'suspended' due to roadworks - yet another collapsed sewer, under Bridge Street this time - Cambridge appears to be literally sinking under the weight of traffic, and, not to put too fine a point on it, poo.
As I walked over the bridge to the temporary replacement bus stop I noticed a few brave punters - in fact, it wasn't quite as cold today as the grey skies here suggest - it was mild, if breezy, and the beautiful pink blossom in front of Magdalen College was doing its best to cheer things up.
Great picture , well captured and hopefully you got the bus
