Saffron Walden must be one of the prettiest towns in the known universe. I love the paisley swirled hedges in Bridge Street gardens. I enjoyed a mooch around the museum too. I'd never been before and was impressed to find it has a small but perfectly formed Ancient Egypt gallery as well as more local exhibits.
