Stockings in the living room at 0900 hours! These days the boys are old enough to appreciate a lie-in on Christmas morning so there are no more appearances in our room at four in the morning. Ed tries to assemble his wind-up model t-rex (suitable for 3+ years, but actually impossible) while Mum hides behind her magazine (in our family stockings always include a magazine or comic as well as sugar mice and tangerines). Now it's time to walk the dogs while Mac cooks the goose.

Haha...I recognized your Mum immediately! How smart to incluse a magazine! On the other hand, our grandsons cornered the market with a heaping pile of books!
