Cambridge view

The half-marathon training programme has been on hold for a few days to make way for the mince-pie-Baileys-and-truffle marathon, but I squeezed into my unning kit today and lumbered very slowly for nine miles.

The best thing about a long run (apart from when it's over) is nosing about bits of Cambridge that I don't usually see - like this view of the cycle bridge over the river to Chesteron and the chimney of the old factory that now houses the industry museum.

Home for a quick change before arrival of Uncle, Aunt and cousins, calling in for a cup of tea on way home after their Christmas travels - ah, back to my comfort zone of stollen, mince pies and Christmas cake!
Well done you, great capture
