I spent the day at Norwich castle/museum with fellow writers and illustrators for a "scrawl crawl". We roamed the premises with our note and sketchbooks writing and drawing anything that took our fancy. I loved this "Snap Dragon" which was traditionally worn as a costume in parades and festivals in Norwich - a bit like the Chinese dragon costume - although a lot tubbier. It looks like a cross between a puffer fish, a hornet and a giant sparrow. A really fun day, amply fuelled by great cakes from the museum cafe.
