Still Waiting

We spent the day exploring Tokyo - or at least, a tiny fraction of it - it's an overwhelmingly huge city. We started in Ueno park in the morning, taking in a temple, the science museum and the International Library of Children's Litereature (I couldn't resist!). Then to the fashionable Shibuya area to wander and look around. We had to stop off to look at the statue of Hachiko - the Japanese equivalent of Greyfriars Bobby, who waited loyally for his master at the underground station for many years. I'm not sure what the woman in white to the left of the picture is wearing - it may have been some kind of dog-tribute outfit.
Ooh you are in Tokyo! Exciting city & one we hoe to visit very shortly! Our grandson is working in Tarasaki! Will be interested to see more of your photos!
