Liberty Ships used in World War II were made in Portland, ME.A large memorial near the Portland Breakwater Light, known as the Bug Light, pays tribute to the people who worked to keep our Navy in ships. For this weeks theme, looking through.
Hi Lisa, thanks for the challenge, sounds like a lot of fun!! Since its winter i'm missing a bit of color, so I would like to challenge you to take pictures of the collor yellow! Its up to you if you want to take several photos during the week or make a collage out of a few yellow shots! As long as it brings some color and happyness! Good luck and have fun with it!
@nicoleterheide Yellow! Sounds good. I know what you mean, everything thing here is pretty much black and white, too. Finally saw some grass today which was surprisingly green for having been buried for a month. I love color, so this will be fun!
@archaeofrog Thanks. You are looking through a cutout window in a memorial to Liberty Ships. It is sort of shaped like the ship, but you can see all of the structure inside.
