The snow piles in front of our house are growing instead of melting. The snow plow just keeps pushing them further up into our yard. When my son (5 feet tall) went to stand by one, it was well over his head (course, he was standing in knee-high snow in the yard, but his feet were on solid ground, sort of). From the road, the pile is easily up to 10 feet high near the driveway, and over 8 feet high on the mailbox side of the yard. And the pile now is about 10 feet wide at the base. It's never going to melt at this rate. It was originally about 5 feet high from the road in early Dec. Mother nature isn't showing us any love today!
As I type this, snow is pouring down outside my window....acck...more snow. This collage really shows how it can pile up into small mountains. Visually, this is a great collage!
@cazann My daughter took a picture in a strip mall parking lot today. The snow piles were so big, you couldn't see the store behind them! LOL! We've had nearly 60 inches of snow this winter, most of which is still on the ground, very little has melted. Half of that snow pile has been there since early Dec. @kathysview Maybe if it wasn't frozen solid you could! LOL! @swilde I keep hoping that I'm dreaming and I'll wake up to find that it's summer! LOL!
@genealogygenie We have snow in our yard that's been there for more than 2 months. I don't think ours is going to melt until summer. @luvmynynix I haven't heard if we are getting more. I hope not.
@kwind I would happily mow grass all year long if I never had to see snow again! LOL!

@digitalrn So are we. It's nuts!
