Finally checked a box on my bucket list on Valentine's Day night. The moon was big and bright, so I used some tips I got from Jeff (@mullejf) in a recent discussion on taking pictures of the moon. And, it worked! So excited.
I wanted to capture that moon last night when I was up at 1:30 a.m. but I would have had to go outside to capture it. With the icy conditions I thought it might be bad if I slipped and fell as know one would know I was out there. Wasn't this last storm awful with the wet snow. UGH!
@therubysusan Thanks! @princessleia It was huge, hard to resist photographing it! LOL! @twr@tuya@digitalrn Thanks! @joansmor Thanks! We had snow and some freezing rain in the middle and at the end. So, the snow in are yard has a thin layer of ice over it. At least it warmed up some.
@tremerryn Thanks! @paulam Thanks! Keep trying. You'll eventually figure it out. Auto didn't work for me, but I got some great shots when I adjusted the shutter speed. I got some great tips from the discussion about taking pictures of the moon. They also had several links to other tips.
@voiceprintz Thanks. Yes, since I've joined 365 my bucket list has really grown! LOL!
Beautiful capture.
