Frosty Friends by homeschoolmom

Frosty Friends

For Haiku-1, twin snow piles created by taking a picture through the bevels in the glass on my front door.
Here's Paul J's Haiku:
WEEK 1 HAIKU - Patience

mirrored souls stand tall
anchored against nature's call
patience conquers all

I think he's trying to tell me I have to be patient and wait for spring, that these giant snow piles in my front yard will eventually melt. Oh, if only I had patience!
Great idea for the challenge!

@luvmynynix Oddly enough, I took this picture this afternoon before I even knew about the haiku, but it worked perfectly!

I love the haiku, and the image. They both call to the English teacher in me!

@homeschoolmom I heard yesterday maybe 3-5 here but haven't seen the latest. Could be another fun drive home.

@joansmor It's pouring down big fluffy flakes right now, so we might be in for more than a dusting, too!

I just saw where they are calling for 6-10 inches for us today. Yesterday, my daughter looked it up and it said .25 inches. That's a big difference!

Beautiful shot, although this snow is relentless!

@homeschoolmom The drive home tonight was scary. White outs at times and the snow froze to the wipers. Had to stop in Biddeford to clean the wipers and the windshield. Was glad to finally get home.

@joansmor Glad you made it home OK. It's awful here, too. Glad everything here was cancelled.
@allisonraposa Thanks. It's crazy. The snow is growing!
