The snow on my roof was rapidly melting today, as it was 55 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon. The water was dripping off the back of my house all day like it was raining! Woo Hoo! I think we had a couple of inches melt in the yard. Another week or so of these warms temp and we might see grass.
F-word of the day is Fifty-five Fahrenheit and FINALLY!
Wonderful capture.......we've also been getting the warmer temps and melting woop woop.......hopefully you'll see grasss soon, when I do, it will be my photo of the day lol :-)
@allisonraposa Mine, too. But, it will be a while for us. There was over 2 feet of snow in our yard after the last snow earlier this week. I'm definitely ready for spring!
@luvmynynix The only way I could get a picture of it dripping was to put my camera up against the corner of the garage, else I would have had to climb across a snow pile and wade through 2 feet of snow! LOL! I got dripped on several times taking this picture!
The snow level in our backyard has gone down quite a bit. I'm watching my garden chair emerge from its winter coat a little bit more each day. And the blue skies are just exhilarating! Nice drip shot!
@olivetreeann Thanks. We're measuring the melting here by the septic pipe! LOL! We could hardly see it at all last week, not we can see about a foot of it! Woo Hoo! Too bad it is snowing again, but just a little!
