Here's the rest of my Get Pushed challenge for this week. I was challenged to make a collage that shows who I am as a person. Well, this is me in a nutshell, I'm a girly country girl, I like pink and camo, and enjoying nature as God made it. I love taking pictures of my kids' activities and of places we have visited and scrapbooking my pictures. I love to cook, specializing in country comfort foods (chicken and dumplings) and Italian food (spaghetti, lasagna, manicotti,....). I love all things Americana. For Mother's Day 2010, my husband flew a flag over his camp in Iraq for me, and my son made me a mosaic flag at church (all the other kids made flowers for their moms), which I framed and hung on my wall in my Americana decorated kitchen.
@swilde@julieco@digitalrn Thanks! @silverhorn No problem. I've had weeks where I couldn't squeeze in the challenge until the next week, too! Enjoy your family.
What a wonderful insight you have presented us with. I really like the idea of showing us a bit about yourself via a collage of things you hold dear. All very pretty in pink.
Thanks for the Get Pushed challenge, especially for making it related to where I live, I'm looking forward to having a go at it.
I like your beer shots from yesterday and it gave me the idea to set you a challenge I've seen a couple of other people do really well: photograph food as if for an advert. (This my well be on my mind because it's dinner time over here in the UK!)
