My 11-year-old is one of the few boys on his football team who can do a real push-up. He doesn't stick his backside up in the air or let his belly touch the ground. That's probably because we used to make him do push-ups when he got into trouble. As you can tell, he was a very ornery child and spent much of his early years on the floor doing push-ups! LOL! Apparently discipline is good for you!
@joansmor Yes, it was. He was our crazy child, so he probably did 100 pushups a day when he was 5! LOL! @digitalrn Yes, they get worked pretty hard while they are out there. @pdulis Thanks!
@mittens@joemuli@tremerryn@taffy@kwind@linnypinny Thanks! @olivetreeann He's very serious when it comes to football, very disciplined on the field. He loves it. @pinkpaintpot Thanks. People ask us if making your kids do push-ups is a military thing, but it's really something my husband learned in football. The boys get out of line and they have to do push-ups.
