Crepe Myrtles are Nobly-kneed Trees! by homeschoolmom

Crepe Myrtles are Nobly-kneed Trees!

My Six Word Story. I love the Crepe Myrtle trees. They look like they don't have bark, and feel very smooth. They are often described as having knees and elbows. The church that sponsors my sons' Boy Scout Troop has giant crepe myrtles lining their parking lots. These big ones are just staring to bloom. Can't wait to see them in full bloom. That's going to be beautiful.
I love how the bark of these trees is so smooth looking.

@randystreat It's very smooth to touch also. Almost like it doesn't have bark. Very strange trees, but they are cool to photograph.
@danette They are some very cool trees. Time to post yours!

@digitalrn @taffy The bark is really cool. It's very smooth. It really looks and feels like the bark has been removed.
@bill_fe Thanks, took that one about an hour before sunset, so the golden sunlight was hitting it.
