Easter Worship by homeschoolmom

Easter Worship

We have at least 20 people who rotate through the worship team, either playing in the band or singing. This was our team this weekend (keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, 4 vocalists and the worship pastor singing and playing electric guitar). As you can see, we are a fairly diverse church, about 75% military (active duty, retiree or family member), ranging in age from 20 somethings to 60 somethings. Of course, I'm the one of the left in the pink shirt (OK, I didn't actually take this picture), Dave, Jim, Bonita, Kevin, Jose, RJ, and Rachelle, and in front, Rachel and Angel (his wife, Dania, who often sings with the worship band, actually took it using my camera). We played 3 serviced, one last night and two this morning. We always have a fun time together. But, being a military minded church, we also remembered our drummer who left for a 9 month deployment yesterday, our other two drummers who are about halfway through a 9 month deployment, and yet another drummer, who should be returning next month. We are a little short on drummers at the moment. And one of our younger members, base player, is moving this summer. We have a constant stream of people coming and going all the time, which is why we have to mark special events like this with a photo. Only Jose, our worship pastor, Rachelle and Jim are "civilians."
Happy Easter!

A lot of talent to be able to substitute one musician when another is unable to be there.

@randystreat We have a fairly large church, over 400 most Sundays. Probably about 1000 this weekend.
