I've posted many pictures of my husband and boys playing with their new bows, as well as the bow holders we were making for them. Finally got the holders for the boys' bows done and on the wall in their rooms. The top on is my husband's bow hanging on his mounted deer hooves. Center is our older son's bow. Bottom is our youngest son's bow. He had to take his quiver off and hang it on a small antler nub to get it to hang.They are very excited to have their bows hanging in their rooms now.
Ooh, I'm going to have to show my sister your photo! She and her fiancee are hunters and she just recently got a bow and is learning to hunt with it. They would love these holders!!
@hoosierhokie They were easy to make if they have some old antlers laying around! LOL! I just got a piece of oak at Lowes and they cut it in two. Got some copper wire. Already had the stain. Drilled some holes in the oak to run the wire through. Put some leftover felt over back to protect the wall from the wire. Hardest part was trying to nail the picture hangers on the back. Tiny nails. I had to use needle nose pliers to hold them. Plus the oak was pretty hard to nail into. It was a great project. The boys love them, but they still want hooves like their dad has! LOL! @juliedduncan Thanks! @dakotakid35 We made them. They aren't that hard to make. @digitalrn Thanks!
@ceilidh Hahaha! Between the three of them, they have too much stuff for a Man Cave, we have a Man House! LOL! They used to have a Man Cave, but it's mostly comic books, video games and gym. Their hunting stuff is all over the house, since we don't have a basement in this house to hold it all.
@juliedduncan Thanks!
