I let the dog out when I came home from church and noticed this little guy hiding in the screen window. I think he was very happy that the dog didn't notice him.
@robz Actually, I just looked him up. This might be an anole. They go from brown to green depending on stress level. We do have geckos and skinks as well, though.
@homeschoolmom That's so interesting - this little guy looks pretty calm so I guess the brown is the "I'm OK" colour. Thanks for the info - they are a lovely reptile for you to have. Cheers.
@grammyn@robz I'm surprised that he let me get so close to him. I was only a foot or so from him, especially since our very large dog was running around.
