A pointer pointing, a retriever not retrieving

Seamus is part Vizsla-Lab mix. He often walks out into our yard and makes this perfect pointer pose. However, he rarely retrieves. Well, he goes and gets the ball you throw, but he won't bring it back! LOL!

Haha! Our last dog - we think a Golden Shepherd - would stand there as if to say "You threw the ball, you go get it". He never would play ball. Seamus is beautiful! I met my first Vizsla last year. He was an 8 month old puppy - pure trouble!
