Today, I took advantage of the boys being away at Boy Scout camp to take some photos I've been wanting to get for the past year. And just in time. This piece of property just outside of town has been rezoned from agricultural to commercial. Soon, everything on this property will probably be torn down, including the big old trees, to make way for some new giant box store. In a way, I find that really sad, as most of the buildings on this property are still in pretty good shape, considering they have sat empty for nearly a year.

@genealogygenie Especially since there are so many empty buildings in town that could be torn down or refurbished. I'm hoping this will be some kind of manufacturing company instead of retail.
