Drove past this house Sunday evening. I'm always amazed at the number of old abandoned houses and barns here. As we drove by, my son noticed that the front door was open and you could see inside, so we went back to get a picture.
It is sad to see this happen. We have had quite a few foreclosures in our neighborhood and it's never nice to see families packing up and moving away. The poor house looks to be in need of much repair. Nice find and capture, Lisa.

I took it about 10 minutes after the sunset picture, nearly 8 p.m. @susanalena This house has probably been empty for years, given it's condition. And they are every where. I have photographed a bunch of empty, abandoned houses and barns. We have lived all over and I have never seen anything like this before. @salza I find it sad, too. There are so many of them in this area.
