The other week someone used a lens ball so I looked it up, but before ordering on I decided to experiment with this crystal globe a friend gave me a long time ago. It’s hard for me to hold on its own like I saw in the advertisement so I may order one with a stand. Haven’t decided if I’d use it very often. Do any of you have an opinion or experience with one?
That’s a beautiful globe. I have a small lens ball that I can easily hold in my small hand, but I don’t use it often. I do like the way it can refract patterns or flowers.
A beautiful globe nicely captured, I love that I can see Cape Town at the bottom.
I do have a lensball and a stand Dorothy which I used quite often when I first got it. It is about the size of my hand. My daughter bought it online in Germany, so I cannot help with any info there.

I have a lens ball and I think mine is about 70 mm. I have taken lots of photos with it over the years and here are just a few.

I have to admit I haven't used it for a while I must have another go at it.
They are great fun to use.
